Navam means new: a new skill, a new start, a new career. We started Navam Academy because the gap between what colleges teach and what product companies need keeps growing.
Why we exist
Our founding team has spent 14+ years building and deploying embedded hardware, IoT platforms and building-automation systems for large international clients, from HVAC and lighting to smart parking, smart washrooms and agriculture. Along the way we interviewed hundreds of freshers and saw the same pattern: good students who had never debugged a real board, written firmware that shipped, or explained a project under pressure.
Navam Academy teaches exactly those missing pieces, in short programs, with real hardware, by people who do this work every week.
How we teach
- Lab first. Every concept is followed by hands-on work on real boards and tools.
- Project-based. Every learner finishes with a complete project they can demo.
- Interview-ready. Mock interviews with working engineers are part of every program.
- Honest guidance. We tell students what a role really involves, including when a program isn't right for them.

Our centre is at IIT Madras Research Park, Kanagam Road, Taramani, Chennai. Navam Academy is an independent institute and is not affiliated with IIT Madras.
