Embedded Systems Engineering

Learn to build the electronics-and-code core of real products. You start with components and C, move onto ARM Cortex-M and ESP32 boards, and finish with a complete product you can demo in an interview.

12 weeksApprox. 180 hoursBeginner to intermediateClassroom + lab

Who this is for

  • ECE, EEE, EIE and diploma students in their final or pre-final year
  • Freshers aiming for embedded, hardware or firmware roles
  • Professionals moving from testing or support into design work

What you'll be able to do

  • Write clean Embedded C for ARM Cortex-M and ESP32
  • Bring up peripherals from the datasheet, not just copy libraries
  • Interface sensors, motors and displays over UART, I²C, SPI and CAN
  • Debug boards with SWD, a logic analyser and an oscilloscope
  • Explain your project confidently in a technical interview

Questions

Do I need to know C before joining?

No. The C module starts from basics and focuses on what embedded work needs most: bit operations, pointers and memory.

Which boards will I use?

STM32 (ARM Cortex-M) and ESP32 development boards, plus sensors, displays and motor drivers in our lab.

What jobs does this prepare me for?

Embedded software engineer, firmware engineer trainee, hardware validation engineer and IoT device developer roles.
